Lisa’s connection to Taos is deeply personal. As a mother, she’s long
experienced the community through the eyes of her daughters, Alex and Olivia(both Taos High graduates!), and remains perpetually in awe of Northern New Mexico’s tri-cultural heritage, natural beauty, and world-class artistry and outdoor experiences.
Her commitment to the community shines through her extensive advocacy for young people and non-profits. This legacy spans decades, from her early role as one of the founders of the Yaxche Learning Center-remembered by many for her groundbreaking Taos School of Cooking dining experiences and fundraising events. She also continues to honor her volunteer spirit with Bridges, a non-profit dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for first-generation and non-traditional college students, as a current board member. Beyond this, Lisa has also served on the Taos MLS committee for the past 3 years, holding the position of President for the last two years. She also proudly serves on the Enchanted Circle Association of Realtors Board for the past two years.
