Blumenschein Home & Museum The home is filled with a superb collection of the Blumenschein family’s art, a representative sampling of works by other famous Taos artists, fine European and Spanish Colonial style antiques, and the family’s lifetime of personal possessions.
DH Lawrence Ranch The purpose of the Ranch Initiatives is to preserve the legacy of novelist D.H. Lawrence and his wife, Frieda Lawrence. Widely considered one of the most important writers of the twentieth century, the British novelist owned only one piece of property in his lifetime, a 160-acre ranch located some fifteen miles outside of Taos, New Mexico which was bequeathed to the University of New Mexico by Frieda Lawrence. Fundamental to the mission of the D. H. Lawrence Ranch Initiatives is preservation of the property and historic buildings.
Harwood Museum of Art The mission of the Harwood Museum of Art of the University of New Mexico is to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret the arts, especially those created in, inspired by, or relevant to northern New Mexico. The museum advances the University’s mission and engages diverse audiences by stimulating learning, creativity and research through exhibitions, programs and publications.
Kit Carson Home & Museum The Kit Carson Home and Museum, still standing in its original footprint at 113 Kit Carson Road in Taos, was built circa 1825 and purchased by Kit Carson as a wedding gift for his third wife, Maria Josefa Jaramillo, a member of a prominent Taos family.
Martinez Hacienda The Hacienda de los Martinez is one of the few northern New Mexico style, late Spanish Colonial period, “Great Houses” remaining in the American Southwest. Built in 1804 by Severino Martin (later changed to Martinez), this fortress-like building with massive adobe walls became an important trade center for the northern boundary of the Spanish Empire.

The Couse Sharp Historical Site Explore the studios of E. I. Couse and J. H. Sharp, founding members of the Taos Society of Artists. These two painters helped create the cultural fabric of Taos as we know it today.

Encore Gallery at the TCA The Encore Galley at the TCA is an 1100 sq.ft. space that also serves as the lobby to the Taos Community Auditorium. Exhibitions are scheduled by the Art Committee of the Taos Center for the Arts.
